    Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i.

    With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology.

    Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center.

    The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.

    The Hemodialysis program at Straub features treatment managed by a cohesive team of specially trained nurses and certified technicians, all under the direction of a dedicated medical director.

    We provide inpatient hemodialysis utilizing the latest technologies to ensure safe and efficient treatments as a part of our comprehensive inpatient health care services.

    As the Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services to the Straub Hemodialysis program patients through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care.

    You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time.

    We are looking for someone with excellent patient care and communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai'i.

    *Under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Federal Vaccination Mandate, all health care workers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption from receiving the COVID-19 vaccination.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR cards. One (1) year recent Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting in Hemodialysis.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree. Two (2) years recent Registered Nurse experience in Hemodialysis.
