    Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

    As a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of our patients.

    • Conduct thorough evaluations using a combination of standardized tests and observational techniques to inform personalized treatment plans.
    • Develop targeted therapy strategies that address both short-term and long-term objectives, focusing on effective communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities.
    • Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions emphasizing language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing rehabilitation, tailored to each patient's unique needs.
    • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and promote a unified approach.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to continue making progress beyond the therapy setting.
    • Support inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, maintaining continuity of care throughout the recovery journey.
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, adhering to state, federal, and institutional standards.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in the field.

    Required Credentials

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
    • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

    Desirable Certifications

    • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining.
