Work Environment: Onsite
Clearance Required: Secret with Top Secret/SCI eligibility

Knowesis, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is currently seeking an exceptional Toxic Exposure Management Analyst to join our team and provide invaluable support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) Health Readiness Policy and Oversight (HRP&O) on our Defense Health Agency contract.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance and possess U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future. Applicants without proof of U.S. Citizenship will not be considered due to the position's security clearance requirements.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Stand-up and provide support to a Toxic Exposure Program Management Office (PMO)
Capture, analyze, extract, and compile additional DoD exposure-related information.
Compile existing exposure-related records and reports with exposure findings to identify all Service Members and civilian personnel that might have been exposed.
Augment information previously collected from key repositories and other activities.
Provide ASD(HA), the VA, and other U.S. Government Agencies timely access to exposure-related information for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Advise the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) on toxic substance exposures.
Sustain and manage legacy toxic exposure data warehouse and archive systems containing DoD records on Service Member and civilian expeditionary workforce deployment, occupational and environmental exposures, past Congressional correspondence, and chemical and biological warfare volunteer human-subject test activity exposure information.
Coordinate the transitioning of the DoD and the VA Chemical and Biological Warfare Exposure System to the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System-Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH) Registry.
Provide support to the government in preparing coordinated responses to Congressional, White House, VA, and VSO stakeholders on toxic substance exposures and maintain Gulf War archives and websites.
Support the Government in the development of innovative approaches in resolving the complex difficulties of reviewing exposure claims and implementing a law requiring declassification of toxic substance exposures.
Support the government in the development and use of best practices, the relevant revision to policies and procedures, and expanded organizational knowledge in the completion of toxic substance exposure research and task delivery.
Provide support in reviewing medical records, analyzing legacy exposures, and generating responses to senior government inquiries and Veteran Service Organizations requests.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years' of relevant experience in the Military Health System (MHS) and/or the Department of Defense (DoD), with chemical and biological defense programs
3-5 years experience with the Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER)
3-5 years' experience with Knowledge Management classification.
3-5 years of experience in Information Technology/Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Document Management tools such as SharePoint
Experience in Environmental Health
Experience with Knowledge Management systems
Sensitivity to and experience handling delicate material of sensitive content

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Bio-Defense, Public Health, Environmental Health Sciences, Public Policy, or National Security required.
