    Job Title:

    Security Officer

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to provide exceptional safety and security services for our guests, colleagues, and hotel property at The Pierre Hotel.

    Salary:

    $65,000 - $85,000 per year

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Patrol all areas of the hotel, both inside and outside, to prevent and respond to any security breaches or incidents.
    • Document all security reports and log relevant information, including incidents of theft, injury, or safety violations.
    • Investigate security breaches and other incidents, maintaining confidentiality and discretion as needed.
    • Ensure the integrity of the hotel key system by issuing, safeguarding, and replacing master keys for authorized personnel and departments.
    • Provide exceptional guest service, handling special requests and ensuring their safety and security.
    • Execute the Deputy Fire Safety Director's duties as per New York Fire Department regulations.

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma and minimum 3 years of hotel security experience.
    • NY State Security Guard License required.
    • Fire Safety Certification or ability to obtain one.
    • First aid and CPR certification or ability to be certified.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
