Position Summary:
In two
four sentences, what are the end results or purpose of this job? Carries out administrative work involving the human resources payroll/staffing
functions and maintains related records by performing the following duties. This position also serves as assistant to the site HR Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
List from most important to least importantIs primary site contact for Corporate Payroll and HRIS systems officials to assure that all partners are paid appropriately with files properly maintained .at the Moorefield Prepared Foods.
The person filling this position is also responsible for the PCN process and for monitoring the site s staffing requirements (budgeted vs actual headcount by department) to assure that positions are available in SAP for new hires, transfers, etc.
Keys in newhires, performs all types of payroll file maintenance.
Provides information and guidance to partners and supervisors concerning policies guiding proper payroll processes,Runs reports manually and electronically to track staffing, etc.
Assists HR Supervisor in providing separation information for Unemployment hearings, etc.Processes wage and employment verifications.
Answers call in line and records absences for dayshift.
Maintains employee payroll/personnel files and other records.
Backs up other HR representatives as needed and performs other tasks in HR upon request.

HR Manager, Corporate payroll officials, Complex superintendents, supervisors, leads, employees, and other contacts within the Moorefield Prepared Foods division. May interface with other Pilgrims divisions as needed.
External:
Bank officials (Direct Deposit)
Scope:
List quantifiable factors, i.e., # contracts, budget responsibility, pounds of product, etc.
Integral Knowledge & Skills:
Qualifications to perform full job at acceptable levelListMust possess a knowledge of FLSA and Wage Per Hour laws and have a thorough understanding of SAP Payroll and HRIS modules.
Must be detail oriented, forward thinking, and possess above average communication skills.
How normally acquired?Education:
A 4-year college degree is preferred.
