    We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant specializing in billing and accounts receivables to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.     Responsibilities:

    Generate accurate and timely invoices for customers based on sales orders, contracts, and service agreements.

    Ensure adherence to billing policies, terms, and conditions.

    Review billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

    Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate billing information.

    Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.

    Coordinate collections efforts and communicate with customers regarding payment status and inquiries.

    Reconcile customer accounts and apply payments accurately.

    Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.

    Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to billing and accounts receivables.

    Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

    Provide insights and recommendations to management for optimizing billing processes and enhancing cash flow.

    Maintain organized and accurate records of billing transactions, invoices, and customer communications.

    Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    Assist with internal and external audits related to accounts receivables.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and customer service to address billing and accounts receivables-related issues.

    Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on billing processes and best practices.

    Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.

    3+ years of applicable and relevant experience.

    Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

    Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Knowledge of wine industry accounting practices (preferred but not required).
