This includes leading the overall manufacturing operations, supply chain, and process quality functions.Through relentless innovation and by doing business in alignment with our core values, the client has grown to become a leading supplier of a niche industrial segmentResponsibilities:
Manufacturing Leadership, Supply Chain & Procurement, Process and Vendor QualityLead, manage and hold the operations team accountable for achieving agree-upon commitments.
Act as the operations culture champion cascading organization's core values and strong operational qualities (safety, TPS, continuous improvement, etc)Provide the manufacturing vision, expertise, and direction for the companyDrive and implement Toyota Production System initiatives throughout operationsIdentify, recommend, and lead assembly process improvementsOversees and manages the supply chain and procurement functionGuide and continuously improve our procurement processesStrengthens and builds upon key vendor relationshipsCollaborate with sales to strategically forecast inventory needs and develop long-term supply chain strategiesOversee the manufacturing process quality and vendor quality functionGuide and continuously improve our quality system and processes to ensure consistent and high manufacturing and vendor qualityLead ISO compliance, recertification, and initiativesRequirements:5+ years experience as a Director of Operations (or similar) in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading operations in a manufacturing company through high growthExperience as a lead decision maker in the implementation of manufacturing processesToyota Production Systems / Lean manufacturing experienceStrong analytical, innovative, and critical thinking skillsDesire to be a part of a hardworking, collaborative, fun and values-driven teamProven track record of clear communications with senior leadership and across cross-functional teamsData-driven methodology for decision making using KPIs and metricsAbility to effectively lead and motivate teams across a variety of functional rolesBenefits:Annual profit-sharing program401(k) and company match100% Employer Paid Medical (Single Coverage); 50% Employer Paid (Family Coverage)Dental, Vision & life insuranceHSA and HRA account options with Health insurance planUnlimited PTOGroup-Term Life insuranceRelocation package potential
