Description
We are searching for a qualified Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments on US Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
When performing Disability Assessments, your main tasks will involve reviewing electronic medical records via a web portal and carrying out focused, face-to-face physical examinations on each Veteran.
You will be responsible for electronically recording the examination findings required by the VA through the designated web portal.
The Nurse Practitioner does not determine disabilities; this responsibility lies with the US Veterans Administration.
This role specifically focuses on conducting Disability Assessments on Veterans. There will be no treatment or medication prescribing involved in this position.
On average, this role involves conducting Disability Assessments for 3-5 Veterans per day.
Schedule: Full-Time: Monday-Friday (8am-4pm)
This position requires in-person presence.
