- Management of facility & factory network, servers, & hardware; liaison to IT vendors to ensure business continuity.
- Identify Strategic Projects to keep facility and factory in compliance with technology
- Install software and hardware, and perform support and maintenance duties, following general instructions.
- Requires thorough knowledge of computer support functions, ability to adapt to changes and to develop or modify techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with Business Process team, Process Engineers, Facilities to execute projects
- Document business requirements and verify against HUB strategy whether requirements will contribute or hinder strategy
- Investigate / prioritize business requirements to define scope and objectives of the projects and prepare schedules, limitations time and desired results.
- Lead internal testing and coordinate the testing with business champions
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Systems related field and 2+ years of experience; OR Associates degree in Computer Science or Information Systems related field and 4+ years of experience; OR, High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of experience. Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi ABB Power Grids in the United States
- Experience working in Windows environments (registry, startup) Microsoft Office applications, batch files, & windows registry
- Experience with basic programming logic
