- Provide high-quality gynecologic surgical services in our progressive, innovative health care system for the veteran outpatient and inpatient population.
- Deliver patient-centered diagnostic and therapeutic gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the specific gynecologic surgical needs of patients.
- Perform and interpret various gynecologic surgical procedures, including hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, myomectomies, and other related surgeries.
- Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including cases that may require multidisciplinary management.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to educational development programs affiliated with the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and research, and be eligible for a faculty appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care for gynecologic surgery patients.
- Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
- Paid Time Off: days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5-day paid absence for CME)
- Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

- Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
- CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)
- Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided
- Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restrictions on moonlighting
