- Provide IV sedation and/or monitored anesthesia care and/or administers general, regional or local anesthesia for a variety of surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
- Monitor patients accurately and performs Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), ventilation or life support measures during emergencies throughout the Medical Center
- Manage the patients' physiological condition while under anesthesia and initiates corrective actions as necessary or as directed by a physician.
- Collaborate with a physician to develop an anesthesia care plan; assist with other departmental or professional duties as requested by the Manager of Anesthesiology
- Board Certified NBCRNA, license in Michigan required (will also consider candidate in the process of completing final course work and waiting to take State Boards)
- Procedure Experience: Adult and pediatric venipuncture, Arterial line insertion, Medication calculation and effects, Sterile technique, Airway maintenance, Administration and management of regional anesthetics required
- BLS, ACLS required, PALS preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in CRNA role – preferred
