Job Description

Serves as subject matter expert on matters related to enterprise information technology design and implementation within Children's Healthcare of Atlanta system.

Determines requirements and plans, implements, and tests systems. Prepares standards, policies, and procedures. Mentors team members and provides leadership and guidance when assisting in problem resolution.

Experience

Cyber Security Architect
7 years of experience in any combination of support and monitoring of security endpoints/servers (e.g., patch deployment/risk assessment/vulnerability scanners/security incident and event monitoring solutions/antivirus products, network security protocols and methodologies, information security and information technology controls, security penetration and vulnerability assessments, systems/network administration)
Experience in National Institute of Standards and Technology and International Organization for Standardization frameworks

Network Architect
7 years of experience in current network and telecommunications (e.g.

Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, downtime phone systems, legacy phone and networking technologies, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Digital Network Architecture (DNA), routers/switches (e.g., Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k, ASR, ASA, VPN Concentrators), wireless controllers (e.g.

, a/b/g/n), and DWDM fiber technology)
Experience in monitoring and management tools (e.g., Cisco Prime and Cisco Works)

Data Architect
7 years of experience with data engineering and architecting
Experience working with various database technology capabilities, tools, and design patterns
Hands-on experience with data architecting, data modeling, data integration, data governance, and business requirements gathering/analysis
Experience implementing enterprise data management processes and procedures

Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in healthcare setting
Experience in an ITIL services framework
Experience in leadership in an information technology support organization

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience

Certification Summary

Job Responsibilities

Participates in development and maintenance of enterprise architecture diagrams and documents, conducts business information flow studies, creates architectural and technology roadmaps, and documents technology standards.

Makes recommendations regarding architecture plans, policies, standards, and procedures.
Defines and implements architecture policies, standards, and baselines.

Writes detailed requirements for deployment of applications, system infrastructure, and security components, and participates in focus groups to help define requirements for new and emerging technologies.

Provides design and product recommendations for technologies needed across the enterprise, and ensures they deliver on stated use cases and business requirements.

Designs innovative technology solutions, and develops mockups, prototypes, and proofs of concept to demonstrate them.
Provides recommendations, alternatives, and guidance to working teams in a formalized design and architectural review process.

Provides integrated systems planning, recommends new/different technologies to enhance current systems and support overall corporate and business goals, and identifies technology trends/solutions to align with organizational business goals.

Partners closely with other architects, program/project managers, infrastructure leaders, and application development teams to ensure a consistent approach to technology roadmap and information assets which process and store data.

Works with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical standards for application architectures and technology, including web applications, mobile technology, cloud technology, and subscription services.

Supports key technology initiatives, with focus on planning, development, and implementation of architecture and monitoring directives.
Assists Solution Center and other teams with architecture-related questions and problems.
Participates in P1 leadership escalation management when requested.
Reviews and provides a quality assurance to department standards being followed.
