About the Position:

A driver's primary role revolves around transporting passengers or freight from one place to another and ensuring their safe journey, which includes adherence to traffic regulations, accurate route following, fuel management, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Punctuality and geographical knowledge are also integral to their role.
A driver's critical competencies include navigating through busy roads and maintaining an upbeat demeanor, which ensures customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Adherence to all traffic regulationsDefensive driving for safety assuranceKeep all windows in the vehicle spotlessKeep the interior of the vehicle spotlessEnsuring sufficient fuel for each tripAccurate recording of fuel consumption, mileage, and other relevant dataRegular vehicle maintenanceAccurately follow the correct routeLoad and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
Assist with warehouse duties, such as inventory management and organizing shipments.


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.

Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.

Qualification Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalentValid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.

Have been driving for at least five yearsMinimum of 1 year of truck driving experienceThe ability to handle varying roads, traffic, and weather conditions is mandatory.

Excellent time management abilitiesExceptional customer service skills and attentivenessCapacity to operate a vehicle for up to 8 hoursMust be able to lift to 45 pounds and perform tasks such as sitting, bending, stooping, and standing for long periods.
