    Role Overview:

    The Armed Security Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the security and safety of the installation and its occupants. Responsibilities include access control, roving patrols, surveillance, and monitoring to maintain a secure environment at this U.S. Army installation, which features amenities such as a gym, PX, Burger King, and MWR.

    Key Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizenship is a must.
    • If applicable, provide DD214 from military service within the last 10 years.
    • Eligibility for a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (we can sponsor new clearances).
    • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in armed security, law enforcement, or equivalent military experience within the last 10 years.
    • Completion of a state-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or military security training, with verification required.
    • Must possess a current/active U.S. Passport.
    • Willingness to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background check; a clean history is necessary.
    • Strong knowledge of security operations and force protection.
    • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
    • Must pass medical fitness testing and have the physical ability to perform guard duties in various weather and terrain conditions, meeting all U.S. Government physical and medical requirements.
    • Ability to complete a Physical Ability Test: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and complete 21 pushups in two minutes.
    • Commitment to random drug testing is required.
    • Regular working hours are 48 hours per week, with the possibility of altered schedules and additional hours as needed.
