    Job Overview


    Komatsu is recruiting for a CAD Designer for our Design Engineering group in Longview, Texas. Komatsu offers competitive pay, excellent benefits and annual bonus/merit potential.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Design and detail of structures, electrical, machinery or air/hydraulic systems using Solid Edge
    • Create ECN documentation within the CenitConnect/SAP software
    • Working knowledge of CAD/PDM software, design principles & practices, & manufacturing processes
    • Create and update models, drawings, and assemblies using Solid Edge
    • Conduct periodic design reviews
    • Adherence to specifications
    • Capable of developing conceptual designs & contribute value in design reviews

    Capable of mentoring a CAD Designer 1

    Qualifications/Requirements


    Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Design Technology

    2-10 years experience as CAD Designer

    Manufacturing background not necessary but a plus

    safety in product design
