As a Network Engineer your primary responsibilities are to analyze, troubleshoot, maintain, design and deploy networking equipment using Dell EMC, HP, Cisco, Extreme Networks and Aruba Networks solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, establish, and optimize LAN, WAN and wireless networks.
• Develop network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization
• Lead and supervise teams
• Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch.
• Train and mentor other engineers.
• Design and validate network performance, quality and reliability
• Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust
• Create manuals and support documentation

Requirements:

• Associates or higher degree related to Information Technology
• 5 years or more experience in datacenter technologies
• Knowledge of security solutions (VPN, Firewalls)
• Knowledge of networking including switching, routing, IP subnets and routing protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to facilitate interactions with business clients and members of other technology teams
• Ability to communicate, and present verbally and written, with a high level of confidence and skill
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with packet capture, e.g., Wireshark, and log analysis products
• Excellent technical documentation skills
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to carry, move and install equipment
• Commitment to keep up-to-date with IT trends and developments in network technologies
• Valid Driver's license in the United States, reliable transportation
• Maintain a clean, neat professional appearance

Applicants should also be customer service oriented and have good communication skills. Working hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 AM until 5 PM with occasional after-hours work needed based on current projects.
