    Job Title: Accounts Payable Representative

    Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Representative to join our Accounting team in Alexandria, LA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex state and local tax rules and be able to apply them accurately against vendor invoices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and process accounts payable invoices in a timely manner
    • Learns complex state and local tax rules and applies against vendor invoices
    • Respond to accounts payable requests and issues in a timely manner
    • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors

    Requirements:

    • A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position
    • Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and principles
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
    • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office

    Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
