    Description
    The In House Donor Coordinator is a dual role working as a Family Care Coordinator and an educator.

    You will work closely with the Hospital Development Liaison, educate staff on designated hospital systems, ensure resources are available, coordinate with hospitals and company staff to evaluate and respond to hospital referrals or organ and tissue donation.

    This combined role requires focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with hospital staff with the goal of facilitating a successful recovery of organs and tissue for transplant.


    Responsibilities:

    • Act as primary communication link between company staff and hospital staff.
    • Identify potential donor referrals in collaboration with hospital staff.
    • Participate in quality assessment performance improvement activities for the OPO.
    • Attend Hospital Development initiatives such as Donor Advisory Committees.

    Required Skills & Experience


    • Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
    • Ability to be on call weekends/evenings.
    • Reliable vehicle with clean driving record.
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience


    • Experience working in the ICU, ER, or critical care units.


    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
