    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a day shift Operating Room position in a critical access hospital, requiring a ME or compact RN license and competency in circulating, scrubbing, and PACU recovery.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a critical access hospital
    Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and recovery phase 1 nursing
    Surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB-GYN, pain management, urology, and endoscopy
    Day shift schedule from 0700 to 1530
    On-call required with a 45-minute arrival time
    Responsible for providing safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period
    Must demonstrate effective communication with the perioperative team
    Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational mission, vision, and values
    Scrub attire required per hospital policy

    Requirements
    Active ME or compact RN license
    Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room experience in a critical access hospital required
    Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required
    Experience in circulating, scrubbing, and PACU phase 1 recovery preferred
    CNOR certification preferred
