    Description
    The Account Manager will execute brand priorities for clients in the lifestyle, cpg and wellness sectors.

    They will generate strategic media outreach that will lead to communications and media awareness in the form of placements including long and short leads, features, gift guides, roundups, and social content (TikTok, IG Takeovers, etc).

    They will also conduct influencer engagement and support product specific launches/events for clients with high-level PR tactics across influencer + media.

    The Account Manager will manage approximately - 8 accounts and projects and work closely with the larger Brand Team to ensure alignment on key initiatives and activities aimed at surpassing lead and communications targets.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    Pitch and secure media coverage on behalf of clients on the national and regional level across online, print, affiliate, broadcast, and podcast media
    Write, proof and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials, while contributing as a core team member on client accounts
    Help develop compelling stories and narratives on behalf of clients to secure consistent product-centric coverage and overall strong brand awareness
    Oversee assistants to review client agendas, recap reports and clips, while also mentoring junior staff
    Lead client programs and campaigns from planning to execution within the specified budget
    Maintain regular communication with clients to grow the relationship, while helping handle day-to-day account tasks
    Help develop and ideate client PR strategies such as client messaging, media + influencer targets, creative seeding ideas, etc.
    Pull and collaborate with different divisions across the agency to ensure the client is getting access to the agency's network-wide expertise
    Establish and maintain strong editorial connections within media across lifestyle, cpg, wellness, along with influencer community + VIPs
    Oversee seeding opportunities for clients across PR, influencers and VIPs
    Achieve exceptional outcomes for current clients and manage an extended portfolio of clients ensuring consistency of PR service is delivered in line with company policy
    Attend client events and activations as needed
    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

    • 5 years of PR agency experience
    Established cpg and lifestyle industry editorial contacts
    Exceptional presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to present to a variety of audiences
    Strong knowledge of the affiliate and commerce editorial space, including familiarity with platforms (ShareASale, Skimlinks, IMPACT, Commission Junction, etc.) and specific contacts to tap
    Existing business and industry relationships across influencers + VIPs, with a desire to continue building new trustworthy connections
    Successful track record of landing media placements across a variety of mediums (podcasts, long/short lead, product + brand features, launch announcements, etc.)
    Experience designing press/influencer mailers and working with vendors + contracts, is preferred
    Keen networker and adept at building relationships with key influencers and industry spokespeople
    Expertise at handling a range of media to place products, grow brands or pitch for new customers
    Business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments and represent PR within the business

    Outstanding written and oral communications abilities; including the abilities to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, and convey ideas effectively
    Must be able to understand complex communications issues, find creative ways to solve problems, and make sound decisions
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
    Exceptional relationship building skills, collaborative, works well with others
