This position will be primarily based out of our Mesa I facility located at 4712 S Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites.
Position Description
The Planning Analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day functional support to the planning team.
This role will analyze BOMs, lead times, and other critical data inputs related to our ERP system's
planning and scheduling modules to improve accuracy and responsiveness of our ERP system to
support production planning execution. The planning analyst will need to a self-starter that works well
in a team environment and is expected to collaborate with Sales/Engineering, Design, Manufacturing
Engineering, Procurement, and Production team. The ideal candidate is data driven with strong ERP
expertise and extensive experience in the manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical
role in sales and operations planning. This is a continuous improvement position that has a direct
impact on growing the business as we identify and implement operational efficiencies. This position
reports to the Senior Planning Manager.
The present scope of operations at the Arizona division covers approximately $135 million per year in
shipments of custom heat exchangers, 415,000 sqft feet of manufacturing space and ~300 production
workers. Our product mix is all work-center based manufacturing with a small, finished goods
inventory. Product mix is mostly batch style production. The products fall into commercial and
industrial sectors. Product size can vary from 10 to 10,000 pounds with quantities varying typically
from 1 to 3,000. We are a growing organization that is committed to controlled and sustainable
growth.

best practices. The Planning Analyst is a new role for our organization. We have recently adopted our
new ERP system, setup new warehousing spaces, setting up new production spaces, preparing to keep
finished goods on-hand, mobilized our first materials handling team and much more – all while growing
the business. This is a fast-paced environment where contributors are empowered to make decisions
and expected to navigate the trade-offs in value, effectiveness, and cost implications. Here at SRC,

learn and solve problems.

Essential Responsibilities
- Day to day functional support for planning and scheduling
- Recommend ERP based solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Develop and maintain data views to support planning execution
- Collaborate with demand planner to ensure capacity alignment, consumption logic and MRP
settings are properly aligned
- Support data integrity initiatives around BOMs, Routers, Item Master and other records/data
points
- Participate in cross functional projects that involve enhancements or integrations to our current
ERP system
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement
- Identify ways to best utilize our new ERP system
- Make decisions that represent the best interest of the organization
- Present and lead through company values
- Support a safety culture by following all PPE and safety rules while on the production floor
Position Qualifications
Required -
- Bachelor's degree or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, Information
Systems or similar field of study
- 3+ years of professional work experience supporting planning/scheduling
- Experience with MRP driven environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent prioritization skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong technical skills with consistent desire to learn more.
- Self-directed and motivated to support the needs of a changing and growing business
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Thrives in a fast-paced production environment. Exhibits grace under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience working with Epicor Kinetic
- History of success with a rapidly growing company
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing
- Basic understanding of SQL
