    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

    Opportunity:

    RN - NICU

    Job Details:


    • Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM

    • Provide nursing care to pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex

    • Must be able to float to all areas within children's services

    • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

    • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred

    • Current Oklahoma nursing license or current multistate compact RN license required

    • Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and NRP (American Heart Association)

    • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients

    • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments

    • Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

    • Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary

    • Administer medications as prescribed

    • Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products

    • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning

    • Delegate tasks to support staff and make referrals to appropriate personnel

    • Maintain good working relationships with other employees

    • Respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
