About the job:
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Compnology, ensuring that all
processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong background in ConnectWise
Accounting, tax and accounting, IT management, project management, and leadership. The ideal
candidate will also have experience with QuickBooks and client onboarding.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
● Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and
effectiveness.
● Implement and optimize operational processes and workflows.
● Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Accounting and Financial Management:
● Utilize ConnectWise Accounting to manage financial operations.
● Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
● Oversee tax compliance and accounting activities, ensuring adherence to regulations.
Leadership and Team Management:
● Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance
culture.
● Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
● Provide clear direction and support to team members, promoting professional growth.
IT and Technical Management:
● Leverage 5+ years of IT management experience to support technical operations.
● Ensure that IT infrastructure and systems are maintained and optimized.
● Collaborate with the IT team to implement technology solutions that enhance operational
efficiency.
Project Management:
● Manage and oversee projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
● Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Client Onboarding and Acquisition:
● Support client acquisition efforts, providing operational insights and support.
● Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
● Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet client needs.
QuickBooks and Financial Software:
● Utilize QuickBooks to support accounting activities and financial reporting.
● Ensure accurate and efficient use of QuickBooks in collaboration with the accounting
team.
● Identify opportunities to optimize the use of financial software for better outcomes.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, or a
related field.
● Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with ConnectWise Accounting.
● At least 5 years of experience in tax and accounting.
● Proven leadership skills with at least 5 years of experience in IT management.
● Strong project management skills with experience in overseeing complex projects.
● Familiarity with client acquisition and onboarding processes.
● Proficient in QuickBooks and other financial software.
● Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
