About the Role:
As a Senior Technical Writer, you will create customer-focused product documentation and serve as a role model for best practices in user-centered technical writing. You will collaborate with SMEs and managers to gain a deep understanding of intricate products and sales processes.

Have you crafted both technical and marketing materials?
Can you narrate a compelling story with a purpose, leveraging storytelling elements to reinforce knowledge?
Have you developed content for both technical and non-technical audiences, including web-based materials?

What You'll Do:

Produce top-notch documentation - such as sales processes, internal business procedures, and marketing releases - to instruct and inform customers.
Compose business system documentation for day-to-day operations within the organization.
Create documentation outlining customer learning journeys to clarify their job role learning paths and requirements.
Embrace and contribute to refining the team's modern, conversational voice and tone.
Assist in establishing the writing team's standards, processes, and best practices.
Oversee and delegate tasks to technical writers, graphic designers, SMEs, and perform quality checks.
Maintain content on various internal websites and wikis to facilitate team and customer tasks.
Develop internal processes for technical writing to streamline daily tasks.
Advocate for the customer throughout all job responsibilities.
Contribute to shaping the team's strategy and vision while managing individual projects independently.

What You'll Need:
Applicants should have experience in at least one of the following domains. While educational background is beneficial, formal teaching experience is not mandatory but can be advantageous for this role.

Proficient in topic-based authoring and information architecture for reusability.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting with strict deadlines and high standards.
Strong writing abilities, including structured information presentation, sentence formation, and a friendly yet professional tone.
Adopt a customer-centric method to prioritize customer requirements over system functionalities.
Experience in grasping a customer's challenges and addressing them through documentation.
Superior audience analysis, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of user experience essentials.
Portfolio showcasing technical information delivery in a modern, conversational style.

Moreover, all candidates must have these qualifications:

Familiarity with technical audiences and cybersecurity is highly preferred.
Experience utilizing a Component Content Management System (CCMS).
Proven ability to simplify intricate technical subjects for easy comprehension.
Passionate about identifying improvement opportunities consistently.

Education
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in fields like Education, Marketing, English, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or related fields. Practical equivalent experience from education, industry, or military background is equally valuable.

Bonus Points:

Prior exposure in Human Resources, Consulting, Technical Training, or Sales Engineering is advantageous.
Background in a high-growth, cloud-native, or cybersecurity organization.
2+ years of technical documentation writing and editing within the information technology sector.
