    Description
    As the Technical Designer, you will manage all aspects of Technical Design related functions from concept to production ready.

    You will be joining an extremely fast-paced team of creative, passionate and energetic individuals working towards significant expansion into various apparel categories, with the swim/intimates/active being the central core of the business.

    The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind who is passionate about fashion and fit and understands the brand aesthetic and price point of our brand.


    Education Requirements:
    Minimum AA in Fashion Design or Related Field and 7+years of experience as a tech designer
    Proficiency in MS Office Applications, Adobe Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop), PLM, and Gerber Browzwer and/or Clo a plus

    Responsibilities:
    Create detailed costing & production tech packs (BOM, construction, specs and fit comments)
    Measure & review samples for fit sessions to make sure samples are in compliance of specs, construction & fit intent
    Take detailed notes and photos during fit
    Work closely with design and product development teams and leaders to guide the product life cycle along with leading all vendors to follow the production journey effectively
    Must be solution oriented and communicate appropriate pattern and fit corrections to factories
    Must be proactive self-starter
    Manage preparation of materials for handover to production or sample room
    Support Director of Technical in building block library
    Tracking system for all fit samples by customer/season from proto to TOP (sample requests, sample tracking, fit approvals) manage WIP report and report back to Director of Tech and Production

    Qualifications:
    7+ years previous experience as a Technical Designer with some Patternmaking experience
    Experience in swim, lingerie and/or activewear product categories
    Solid knowledge of patterns
    Knowledge and eye for fit, garment construction, finishing and overall aesthetics along with understanding grading for multiple products & size categories
    Excellent communication skills - verbal, written

    Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location
