Job Summary / Objective 

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing systems that integrate cutting-edge technologies into our marine products. Your work will ensure seamless collaboration between Design & Engineering with Manufacturing Departments. 

Essential Job Functions and Duties 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Product Design, Manufacturing) to develop integration strategies for new and existing products.

• Design of production build fixtures, jigs, and related equipment as needed to support launch of new products. All designs done using Solidworks.

• Analyze and validate system requirements to ensure compatibility and performance within marine environments.

• Troubleshoot integration challenges and provide technical solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration workflows, test plans, and system specifications.

• Conduct system testing, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations to enhance overall product performance.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into Roswell Marine's product line.

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related field).

• 3+ years of experience in systems integration, preferably in the manufacturing or marine industry.

Qualifications 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

• Proficiency in Solidworks and testing equipment.  

• Hands-on experience with fixtures, jigs and production equipment

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.

• Excellent organizational skills

• Working knowledge of Excel and ideally Google suite of applications

Work Schedule / Travel / Additional Requirements

• Normal office hours are Monday - Friday, 8AM – 4:30PM, this position will spend the time necessary to get the work done including evenings and weekends as needed. 

• Travel between Roswell facilities required as needed. 

• Background - clear background required for new hires.

• Office Environment - ability to use computers and office equipment.

• Safety Glasses must be worn at all times when in certain production areas.  

• Enclosed non-skid shoes must be worn at all times when in the production areas.

• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  

• Frequently required to climb or balance,  lift and/or move up to 50 pounds   

• Occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell, lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  

• Frequently walk-thru & periodically conduct inspections throughout Roswell facilities and carry any equipment used for inspections.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
