Job DescriptionAs a cashier at our beauty supply store, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently processing transactions. **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Service:**
Greet customers with a friendly demeanor as they enter the store.
Assist customers in locating products and provide recommendations as needed.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering attentive and personalized service.
2. **Cash Handling:**
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and integrity.
Calculate and provide change to customers as necessary.
Maintain cash register drawers and reconcile cash balances at the end of each shift.
3. **Product Knowledge:**
Develop a thorough understanding of the products sold in the store, including beauty supplies, cosmetics, skincare, and haircare products.
Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and special offers to effectively communicate with customers.
Provide product information and usage tips to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
4. **Merchandising and Inventory Management:**
Assist with restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays to ensure a visually appealing store layout.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock or replenishment needs to the management team.
Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation processes.
5. **Store Maintenance:**
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including cashier stations, aisles, and checkout areas.
Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced, with accurate signage displayed.
Adhere to store policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling guidelines.
**Qualifications:**

Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills.
