Performs specific cleaning duties of assigned areas in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures of the Environmental Services DepartmentPerforms other duties as assigned while demonstrating willingness, ability, and team spirit to provide optimal customer satisfaction

Team Work:
Never say Thats not my job: improve everything I doWork with co-workers of every department to make NMHS better for the patients and their familiesIf you see a spill or trash, take ownership of it and clean it upWork as a team with EVS to ensure that every area is cleaned at a high level dailyClerical:Complete daily/weekly detail sheetsLog in/out of Teletracking with pager numberLog in/out of Teletracking for lunch/break

Customer Service:
Ensures excellent customer serviceResponds to management and internal departments in a timely mannerLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesProvides support to co-workers and other departments as required/requestedFollow AIDET and High Profile Cleaning during every patient cleaning interactionBudget:Ensure that supplies are used appropriately at all times

Regulation:

Adheres to NMHS behavioral standardsAdheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/GuidelinesComplies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statuesAdheres to all HIPAA regulationsRequirements:High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent; preferred.

EVS experience; preferredCustomer service experience; preferredChemical/SDS knowledge; preferredExcellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills; preferredExcellent interpersonal skills; preferredGood initiative and time management skills; preferredMust complete EVS related training during initial training and annually thereafterMust complete hospital based training annually as assigned Requirements No additional requirements from any stated in the above description.
