The Human Resources Commission consists of five members and acts in an advisory capacity to both the City Council and the Personnel Officer (City Manager) in all matters relating to personnel.

Reviewing position classification plans and hearing appeals submitted by employees are some of the key tasks performed by this commission.

Responsibilities

  • The Human Resources Commission may continually review the recruitment and selection process for classified service positions.
  • Making comments and recommendations regarding these processes is also within their duties.
