    Qualifications
    5+ years of hardware development experience (power electronics preferred)
    3+ years of project

    development/management

    experience
    Track record of success in independently managing hardware development projects
    Places emphasis on following all applicable safety codes and regulations
    Experience in EMC and reliability de-bugging
    Ability to work conscientiously and responsible in a collaborative team environment
    Possesses strong communication skills, both written and oral
    Possesses a strong desire to learn
    Proficiency in the design and development of analog and digital hardware circuits
    Experience in multi-layer (6- and 8-layer) circuit boards design (Preferred)
    Familiarity with wireless communication modules and methods, such as Bluetooth BLE/LE, Wi-Fi, 4G, etc.
    Duties and Responsibilities
    Develop corresponding hardware products according to design requirements and specifications
    Design detailed schematic diagrams and organize the bill of materials for new product designs
    Track development progress and allocate tasks efficiently to ensure projects stay on a track
    Responsible for the hardware platform design of new chargers and the development of new hardware solutions
    Work closely with software and systems engineers to troubleshoot, locate, and remedy issues in physical products using root-cause analysis
    Perform design and debugging of multi-layer PCB boards independently
    Responsible for product-cost optimization
    Responsible for product sample preparation
    Perform limited technical tracking work
    Lead follow-up of mass-produced products to ensure consistent quality
    Devise solutions for technical problems of after-sales hardware
    Assist quality engineers by formulating hardware test plans
    Track debugging procedures to ensure their normal operation according to design requirements
    Lead product reliability testing and certification
    Debug and modify products to ensure that the product can pass various safety tests and obtain safety certificates as needed
    Prepare project documents, quality records, engineering change maintenance, and other related documents
    Assist in completing relevant product certification work

    Due to the start-up nature and fast-paced timeline of this regulatory compliance endeavor, we are seeking to build out a nimble, capable, and robust team for our new Irvine, CA location.
