    Oil & Gas industry engineering technology leader focused on a wide range of Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation products programming, including PLCs, HMIs, and various industrial solutions, will be instrumental in optimizing processes within the oil and gas sector.

    In this role you are:

    • Responsible for client liaison and interfacing with management.
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships.
    • Team player with the ability to integrate with other team project members and up to 5 Project Managers at a time.
    • Responsible to interact with the Global Engineering Center and Industry Teams and Engineering Managers.
    • Assigned to several projects at a time.

    Ideally you have come from Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) within the oil and gas industry, as this role will be essential in ensuring seamless operations and maintenance of automated systems.

    In this role, you will:

    • lead a small team of others while you also integrate PLC systems with various sensors, actuators, and machinery for seamless process control.
    • Be responsible for technical Troubleshooting and Support: Leverage your expertise in Allen Bradley products, including E300s, AB Drives, and RSLinx Gateway, to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Utilize the capabilities of RA Asset Center for version control, backup, and recovery of PLC and HMI projects.
    • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
    • Provide both on-site and remote technical support Rockwell Automation & Allen Bradley systems.
    • Integrate PLC systems with various sensors, actuators, and machinery for seamless process control.

    Qualifications

    Mandatory:

    • Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline
    • Related control systems application experience as follows;
    • 5 to 10 years of experience or more
    • Leaded and participated in large and complex projects on the O&G Industry
    • RA Products experience (Logix, Aadvance, Plant PAX, Drives, Software, Industrial components)
    • MS Office tools, AutoCAD
    • Site installation and commissioning leading experience, including mounting and electrical subcontractors supervision

    Industry specific knowledge and experience

    • O&G projects expertise, including Downstream
    • Experience of control system applications throughout the project lifecycle from initial design concepts through to installation and subsequent client support

    Role Requirements

    • Readiness to travel – 25% of the time estimated
    • Readiness to work overtime when required. Extra hours are paid.
    • Located in Houston or nearby area
