    Sourcing Manager

    Description:

    Department: US Sourcing Indirect

    Duties: Local Implementation to Category Strategy following TOM (incl. Complex and/or high spend negotiation) and inform accordingly local Business Partners BPs.

    • Identify, evaluate and classify sourcing risks and Manage risk exposure with mitigation measures.
    • Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.
    • Use Business Review Meeting and KPI leverage to resolve potential issues at an early stage.
    • Feedback to Category Manager as needed.
    • Manage local Business Partners actively and collaborate in order to align common goals.
    • Coordinate Business Partner Demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared and Business Partner is supported adequately.
    • Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities.
    • Oversees the Supplier performance management program for assigned categories Oversees the Supplier diversity program for assigned categories.
    • Negotiates, reviews and executes contracts, Maximize usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs) as possible.

    Skills:

    • Ten (10+) years of Sourcing experience, Knowledge in Pharmaceutical industry.
    • Demonstrated efficiency in the following: Demand management; Market and supply analysis; Negotiation; Total cost of ownership, saving, and NPV; Project management; Delivering against commitments Experience / background in the following; Contract management, supplier relationship management, RFP process, Negotiation and/or Contract Management Solid experience with contract terms negotiation, issue spotting and risk evaluation
    • Working knowledge of clinical outsourcing models. Procurement /Sourcing expertise in a clinical research service with outsourcing experience in the drug development industry or CRO OR Experience with Real World Evidence (RWE), Market Access, Pricing and Health Economics and Outcome Research (HEOR), Marketing Data and Secondary Data Analysis. Knowledge of evidence generation, AI and machine learning.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated experience in collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timeline.
    • Strong project management skills, ability to influence and bring teams to consensus and agreement

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical operations and / or category or sourcing experience in this area.
    • Knowledge of or experience with clinical patient recruitment partnership or vendors and strategy and analysis in this area is desired.
    • Knowledge of or experience with Observational Non-Interventional Studies.

    Education:

    Master's Degree from an Accredited Institution. Areas may include; Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical, Business Administration or related.
