- Professional level of Healthcare knowledge, which is equivalent to completion of a Bachelor's in nursing preferred, or Bachelor's degree (BA) in other Healthcare related fields such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or equivalent and relevant work experience.
- Work experience assessing and assisting in the resolution of customer relations using interpersonal, oral and/or written skills with a variety of populations required.
- Requires skills in critical and technical reading, as well as the ability to write case notes, progress reports, and action plans and accurately document conversations and actions.
- Possess the capacity to innovate and improvise in achieving effective solutions.
- Requires experience with using interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills serving a variety of cultures and socioeconomic strata.
- Requires experience in the utilization of skills specifically related to developing a rapport with patients, families and the Care Team as a vital foundation in problem solving and conflict management/resolution.
- Requires demonstrated basic computer literacy and the ability to learn and utilize additional software and program applications germane to a hospital environment.
- Demonstrates an aptitude in the following areas: de-escalation, crisis management, conflict resolution, arbitration, reflective listening, reframing and restructuring, accurately assessing issues and creating relevant solutions to problems.
