    Position Overview:


    Vaco Raleigh is recruiting for a manufacturing company in search of a strategic and results-orientedDirector of Finance to lead the finance team and drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting initiatives.

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and insights to support business decision-making and drive operational excellence.

    This position offers a hybrid work schedule, providing the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Planning and Analysis:
    Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial projections.

    Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth and profitability.


    Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP.

    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

    Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address any audit findings.


    Strategic Financial Management:
    Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals and objectives.

    Evaluate investment opportunities, capital allocation decisions, and cost-saving initiatives.

    Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to assess the company's financial health and performance.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team.

    Promote a positive work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and teamwork.


    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and supply chain to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.

    Serve as a strategic partner to department heads, providing financial guidance and support for decision-making.

    Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure transparency and alignment on financial matters.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

    8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

    Experience in a manufacturing or similar industry preferred.

    Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis tools, and ERP systems.

    Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving results.
