Position: Bookkeeper
Location: East Hartford, CT
Compensation: Up to $25/hour

About the Position:

• I personally placed their Bookkeeper last year. She is going on maternity leave the end of May
• This role could become permanent if the employee doesn't return back after 3-4 months, otherwise will be temporary for that duration
• The ideal candidate will start next mid-May to train with her first for a few weeks
• Laid back and collaborate work environment
• Flexible hours 8-5 are their core hours, but after training you can start as early as 7 AM

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

• Proficient in AP and AR terms, i.e. what does net 30 mean? (required)
• AP invoices varies on week - but match invoices to PO before processing payments (approx. 50 per week)
• Process ACH and check payments
• Accounts Receivable

Qualifications of the Position:

• Understanding of the general ledger (required)
• QuickBooks experience (plus)
