The Role
The Portfolio Administrator supports the implementation of ISG strategies and key projects of the team. This individual is responsible for a wide range of duties related to trading, operations, and compliance. They are always growing, innovating, and improving. This individual should expect a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Overall Responsibilities
Support trading operations (Equities and Fixed Income).
Document portfolio manager's trade decisions in accordance with compliance standards.
Support with administration of outside investment trading platforms for both options and retirement plan providers.
Review client transactions and activity.
Manage, translate, and analyze data.
Assist in creating ad-hoc reports for both ISG team and firm advisors.
Execute investment operations processes (trade reconciliation, report audits, systems maintenance, compliance tasks).
Help introduce automation and scalability to processes and task management. Will play a role in new software evaluation.
Master technologies and tools (Tamarac, Salesforce, Schwab Institutional Intelligent Portfolios).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of and interest in financial products and capital markets.
Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), and portfolio management software such as Tamarac, Salesforce CRM, and custodial platforms.
Familiarity with or interest in a programming or scripting language
Commitment to teamwork, continual improvement, and accuracy.
Versatility, flexibility, and an ability to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
