    Description


    The role of Senior Technology Product Manager will be to drive the definition, documentation, planning and implementation of key operational products at Dynasty Financial Partners, throughout their lifecycle.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Current State Documentation:
    Map existing business/system process and recommend improvements. Facilitate conversations with Leadership as needed to shape future state.

    Information Gathering and Analysis:

    Collect and analyze information, interview SMEs, observe operations, and leverage business systems knowledge to solve specific problems faced in current state.


    Define Project Scope and Objectives:

    Collaborate with teams using a deep understanding of operations, systems, and industry requirements to define project scope, including phasing.


    Create Comprehensive Business Requirements:
    Detail functional (e.g., business processes, rules, screen flow) and non-functional (e.g., data, security, performance) capabilities.

    Project Management:
    Develop and maintain project schedules, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across business units for seamless execution.

    Hold stakeholders accountable to deliverables based on agreed to timelines, provide ongoing reporting of results and key milestones achieved - escalate progress to management sponsors as on track, roadblocks to solve, or at risk.

    Liaison Between Client and

    Technical Units:

    Act as a bridge between client business units and technical teams, analyzing needs and representing users in technology solution development.


    Problem Solving with Complex Systems:
    Represent stakeholders on project teams and solve intricate problems within large, cross-functional systems.

    Evaluate Solutions' Organizational Benefits:
    Assess the potential benefits of new solutions for the organization.
    Manage the Investment including project economics to ensure a positive return for the business

    Strategy and Roadmap:
    drive unified vision for application strategy and development roadmap to align with business objectives

    Requirements

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Technical Proficiency:
    Mastery of SDLC, development methodologies, product management, requirements writing, issue tracking, and change management.

    Business Knowledge:
    Experience with middle-back office operating systems, file mapping, and reconciliation between independent platforms in Financial Services.

    Expert Analytical Skills:
    Ability to facilitate thorough information-gathering sessions as well as independent study to resolve complex challenges.

    Process Improvement Expertise:

    Experience mapping complex business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement, both operationally and in terms of system design, with proven track record of improved outcome.


    Collaboration and Relationship Building:
    Strong collaboration skills within cross-functional teams and the ability to establish effective relationships.
    Effective Decision-making: Skillful approach in selecting actions consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.

    Clear Communication:
    Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying information engagingly to diverse audiences.

    Educational Background and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with 7+ years of experience in Financial Services. Lean Six Sigma or related certification is a plus.

    Proven Experience

    Proven Development Track Record:
    Proven track record of large-scale technology development, project management and implementation.

    Proven Financial Service Technology:
    Proven track within financial services technology industry. Proven experience with business-critical applications within portfolio management, billing and custody preferred. RIA specific technology experience is a plus.
