    The University of Rochester's Human Resources team is seeking an

    Associate Director of Organizational Change Management

    to lead our effort in creating a supportive, equitable, and inclusive work environment where every employee can thrive.

    The

    Associate Director of Organizational Change Management


    will be developing and executing change management and communications plans that ensure staff are prepared for and adopt critical, institution-wide, projects.

    The

    Associate Director of Organizational Change Management

    is responsible for putting a human touch to changes in business processes, systems and technologies.

    There is a focus on working with, and coaching, HR Business Partners, leaders and their teams, developing strategies to maximize implementation success and minimize resistance to large-scale organizational change.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :


    Manages a change network and partnership strategy involving executive sponsors, senior leaders, managers, and supervisors as primary advocates for change, enhancing organizational awareness.

    Identifies and mitigates people-focused risks and issues, by analyzing KPIs and potential resistance points and devising mitigation plans.

    Leads the development of thorough organizational change management plans for critical initiatives. Participates in committees to ensure effective change management representation.

    Collaborates with training experts to design competency-based training and implementing learning strategies. Designs post-training performance reviews to ensure end-users are engaged, informed, and proficient in embracing change during implementation.

    Serves in a leadership capacity to project communications and training teams to ensure precise messaging to the right audiences.


    QUALIFICATIONS :
    Change Management certification preferred
    Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated organizational change management experience
    Organizational change leadership experience within a highly matrix, highly complex, large organization employees) is helpful


    The University is open to a hybrid work schedule, a mix of onsite and remote work, for the Associate Director of Organizational Change.

    Due to the nature of the onsite work, the Associate Director must reside in New York state and be willing to commit to quarterly travel to Rochester, NY at a minimum.
