Our location in Washougal, WA, has an excellent opportunity for an Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment.

The technician is expected to follow safety protocols and utilize predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to contribute to the overall success of Fitesa's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Technicians perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Being a Maintenance Technician includes performing equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance. Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. Additionally, Maintenance Technicians log equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system. Follow all safety procedures. The position reports to the Maintenance manager. The Maintenance Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Processes a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates Degree in a Technical field strongly preferred. One to three plus years manufacturing maintenance experience and/or relevant field.

Familiar with air and water pollution control technology and federal, state and community regulatory agency workingsWillingness and ability to learn and perform in other functions in the plant.

Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
Willing and able to work flexible hours including rotating shifts as needed.
Possess communication skills to relate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Technical Competencies:
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.

Advanced troubleshooting skills and good mechanical abilities Ability to apply basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to read and interpret measurement from a ruler, tape measure, or other measuring device in standard and metric systemsStatistical Analysis skills with the ability to establish and audit against goalsPhysical Demands:
This position requires frequently lifting and/or moving up to pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The position requires frequent lifting, walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under extreme temperatures.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
