    The opportunityThe Project Setup Associate is responsible for the set up and maintenance of projects in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring project hierarchies are established in accordance with contract awards and modifications as well as ensuring that contract / project data is current, accurate and complete.

    Skills and attributes for successCompletes the setup of simple contracts in Deltek Costpoint to include:

    Company standard project structure (WBS)Proper revenue recognition methodCLIN and charge code schemaAccurate value and funding per CLINProject labor categories and rate setupsWorkforce setup for employees and vendorsSetup of fee ceilings or rate overridesBilling Information SetupCompletes input of contract modifications in Deltek CostpointValue and funding changesPeriod of performance changesSetup of newly exercised option yearsProvide support to various data call requests from Contracts, Finance and Program Management teamsTo qualify for the role, you must have3 to 5 years of experience in contract or project accounting using Deltek CostpointExperience with Cognos reporting or other similar querying toolsExperience working in a high volume, quick turn service centerPrior experience working with Deltek Costpoint contract setup modules and fieldsWorking knowledge of government contract types, to include FFP, T&M, CP typesWorking knowledge of various contract fee structures, to include fixed, variable, and award feesWorking knowledge of revenue recognition methodsWorking knowledge of FAR, DFARs, CAS & ASC 606Excellent oral and written communication skillsSuperior attention to detailAbility to adjust quickly and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong organizational skillsHigh degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, as well as the ability to learn new computer applicationsCurrent security clearance or the ability to obtain oneIdeally, youll haveExperience in Deltek CostpointBachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, or related fieldWhat we offerWe offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.

    The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $50,000 to $88,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $60,000 to $100,000.

    Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
