Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Manager in the Harrisburg, PA area for a food manufacturing company.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Direct, optimize, and coordinate the entire order fulfillment cycle, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Implement and maintain best practices for inventory management, including forecasting, purchasing, and stock control, to achieve optimal levels.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including layout optimization, product cataloging, and development of efficient shipping routes.
• Supervise and lead warehouse personnel, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement, implement cost-reduction strategies, and drive continuous process optimization.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including ISO requirements.
• Manage and negotiate logistics contracts with carriers and third-party service providers.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a logistics, operations, or supply chain management role.
• Proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes and achieving cost reductions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve logistical challenges.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Experience in the food industry (packing, storage, and distribution) a strong plus.
