We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Job description:

As an Electrical Engineer at Vision Products your responsibilities will include designing next generation high resolution, high frame rate display drivers for cutting-edge augmented and virtual reality head mounted display systems.

An ideal candidate would also be able to write firmware for embedded processors such as PIC, Atmel, and STM32. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting system level head mounted display systems.

Additional responsibilities also include supporting internal and customer based design reviews, training technicians on new incoming electronics, and deriving electrical system requirements based on customer inputs.

You will also collaborate daily with cross functional members of the engineering team including mechanical, optical and software.

Qualifications:
0 to 5+ years of experience working as an electrical engineer.
Firmware experience with PIC, Atmel, STM32, or similar.
Hands-on board level and system level troubleshooting.
Independent and self-motivated.
Experience with OrCAD for schematic design work.
Experience with electrical designs consisting of MCUs, FPGAs, and video support ICs.
MIPI camera experience a plus.
DisplayPort video experience a plus.
Any computer vision experience a plus.
Microdisplay experience a plus.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Master's Degree is a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $170,000.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.

Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
