    Job title: Software Engineer Intern

    Description

    Software Development Internship Opportunity

    This internship provides valuable experience and exposure to upper management for students enrolled in accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop ETL dataflows for manufacturing processes
    • Sustain and improve applications utilizing manufacturing data
    • Collaborate with multiple teams to collect requirements and implement data solutions
    • Assess data quality and integrity, identifying areas for enhancement
    • Publish process documentation and workflows
    • Address problems related to dataflows and applications

    Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

    • Current enrollment in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with completion of at least two years prior to internship start
    • 3.0 GPA or higher
    • Knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Ruby)
    • Understanding of database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures
    • Familiarity with web frameworks and frontend technologies (.NET, Django, React)
    • Familiarity with file parsing, transfer, and XML/JSON formats
    • Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab or GitHub
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively
