    We are seeking a Flatbed Driver for our customer County Materials in Appleton, WI.

    About the position:

    • Competitive hourly pay, pay based on experience/skills.
    • Run loads locally,Majority of freight hauled is for our company, minimal wait time.
    • Home every night

    Job Duties:

    • Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.
    • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices.
    • Properly secure load prior to transport following DOT regulations.
    • Operate tractor trailer combinations.
    • Transport freight while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
    • Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE.
    • Load & Unload transported material utilizing approved methods.
    • Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor.
    • Receive work assignments and report back on job completion.
    • Use consistent communications with dispatcher.
    • Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.

    Work Environment:

    • Work in outdoor weather conditions.
    • Work near moving equipment and machinery.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Sitting.
    • Carrying/Lifting lbs. Regularly, > 40 lbs. Occasionally.
    • Standing / Walking / Climbing.
    • Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending.
    • Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Must hold a valid Class A CDL prior to hire.
    • Maintain an active DOT qualification.
    • Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience required.
    • Ability to perform well in a "Team" environment.
    • Self-motivator and must be flexible to accommodate the client's needs.
