    The Methods and Periods Consulting Senior Associate will be responsible for collaborating on the design, implementation, and execution of various consulting services to our existing clients as well as industry specific up-market tax clients.

    Ensure projects are conducted in accordance with firm standards and completed on time within budget.

    Conduct fieldwork including visiting the client location, investigating relevant facts, analyzing accounting information, completing appropriate tax computations, and preparing written memorandum summarizing the findings.

    Ability to travel within the Region. Travel is dependent on location, size of the local market, size of projects, etc.
    Ability to multi-task and manage numerous project tasks at once.
    Participate in professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a focus on Taxation strongly preferred; CPA or legal background will be considered if substantial accounting and quantitative skills.

    A minimum of two to four years of experience in Accounting or Tax in public accounting or consulting firm preferred.

    Intermediate understanding of tax return mechanics.
    Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
    Must have solid Microsoft Excel abilities to analyze and summarize data with accuracy
    Basic understanding of income tax theory and tax return mechanics/preparation.

    Candidate need not be expert in preparing tax returns; however, a basic understanding of the mechanics of the tax return is required.

    Proficient in basic tax concepts.

    Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
    Candidate must be willing and able to travel approximately 8 to 10 days per month.
