    Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is recruiting a Division Chief in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

    Opportunity Details

    • Join a growing team, presently consisting of 16 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers at Penn State Health Children's Hospital.
    • High quality academic and clinical programs in our recently constructed/expanded Children's Hospital with primary responsibility for an 18 bed Pediatric Progressive Care Unit and 24 bed Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit which can expand by up to 8 additional beds.
    • Coverage with our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation colleagues at the joint venture Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital.
    • Interactions and team-coverage with entire complement of medical and surgical specialties.
    • Work with robust pediatric and med/peds residency programs.
    Requirements
    • Medical degree - MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
    • Fellowship trained, BC/BE in Pediatrics, BC/BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine a plus
    • Minimum 5 years pediatric experience.
    • Eligible for the rank of Associate Professor or higher.
    • Proven leadership experience in an academic healthcare environment.
    • A strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education and research/scholarly activity is necessary.
