    Description

    Our 160 unit apartment community in SE Portland, Oregon needs a full-time maintenance technician to provide quality maintenance/repairs for our residents.

    Technicians will work alongside a team of qualified, trained associates.


    Qualified candidates should have skills and experience in a variety of maintenance disciplines, including painting, minor plumbing & electric, drywall, changing light fixtures, etc.

    The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks on building facilities and equipment and have a strong background in maintenance and repair.

    Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.


    Job Description:
    Maintenance/Repair - Daily Operations


    • Conduct advance maintenance and repairs on building facilities and equipment including rough and finish carpentry, drywall & patching, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
    • Demonstrate a high level of competence in two or more trades and the desire and drive to learn more
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with equipment and systems
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks completed and identify areas for improvement
    • Communicate with management and other departments to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed according to company standards
    • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Manage and Conduct Work Professionally


    • Manage compliance with company procedures
    • Manage and conduct own work in compliance with OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, Landlord / Tenant Acts/Local, State and Federal laws
    • Maintain tools, vehicles and other related corporate owned equipment
    • When directed by supervisor, work within team environment on 'as-assigned' special projects
