    The Molding Process Engineer is in charge to develop, maintain and optimize all contract manufacturing injection molding processes. Interacts with all departments and customers to ensure the proper execution of all qualification activities. Supports production activities by mentoring and training process technicians in daily activities.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop robust and consistent molding processes using scientific molding techniques
    Proposes and implements modifications to molds, equipment and processes focused on increase productivity and maximize efficiency.
    Analyze process development issues and take corrective action to improve Design for Manufacturability.
    Troubleshoot molding, manufacturing processes and material issues.
    Work with internal and external resources to resolve molding and manufacturing issues and implement long term solutions.
    Research, develop and implement manufacturing process controls, machinery modifications and improvements.
    Creates operating procedures and instructions to ensure production standardization.
    Provide input on new or alternate materials for cost reduction or molding improvements.
    Provide technical assistance and support to the production floor in resolving problems, using systematic methods of troubleshooting, root cause analysis which include repair and modification of existing tooling and processes
    Participate in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts related to product and/or tooling issues; provides technical input and support as required
    Creates and maintain BOMs and routings though ECO and CAR.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Electro-Mechanical or equivalent)
    Hands on experience
    Scientific Molding experience
    Experienced in MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc.)
    Experience with CAD Software (Solid Works & AutoCAD) preferred.
    RJG certification is a plus


    Requirements, Skills & Experience:
    Analytical problem solving
    Secondary Operations qualification
    MRP experience IQMS or similar
    Self-motivated, requiring minimum supervision
    Software familiar:

    Microsoft office, Minitab, Project, AutoCAD

    We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
