- Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, and 10 or more years of qualifying experience can be substituted for a master's degree and five years' experience

- Assist in the development of significant security cooperation initiatives (SSCI) for the assigned country / region that support the theater campaign plan (TCP).
- Provide Theater Security Cooperatoin and Pol-Mil country / region specific subject matter expertise to the command and staff
- Assist the country security cooperation office (SCO) develop their country specific security cooperation plan and integrate that plan into the TCP.
- Research and produce written Pol-Mil products that support the COCOM commander's decision cycle and inform the broader staff on country/region specific issues.
- Plan, lead/facilitate a country specific bilateral action officer working group designed to build a fully coordinated training and engagement plan with the partner nation
- Minimum of five years of practical experience in the pertinent area.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoD.
- Experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team.
- Expert knowledge of all requirements identified in the responsibilities section
- Basic level or Intermediate level Certification in Security Cooperation Planning, Oversight, and Execution Management area of concentration

Job Objective The Senior Pol-Mil Analyst provides regional / country pol-mil analysis subject matter expertise to plan and execute regional theater SC activities by; conducting regional pol- mil analysis, advising the Commander and staff on pol-mil affairs, integrating national and strategic guidance, coordinating applicable country / region SC activities with other DoD and/or DoS, and providing in-country / on-site visit and engagement support directly to CENTCOM senior staff (Directorate, Component, and Command Group leadership)
