- Organize and maintain facility medical records system in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Code and quantify records from admission to discharge.
- Assist with development of record policies and procedures.
- Maintain a documented, organized system which is readily accessible by others.
- Prepare reports as requested.
- Act as secretary for designated meetings.
- Conduct resident chart audits quarterly.
- Order, receive, stock, and dispense departmental supplies, and maintain an accurate inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of facility supplies and resident and ancillary services, preparing reports as required.
- Medical Records certification preferred.
- Basic clerical and office function skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
